Meanwhile, as Hana-chan ventures deeper into the forest, Doremi and the girls follow her in attempt to pull her back. However, Hana-chan finally reaches the former witch queen, who unleashes her fury in the form of lightning. Onpu rescues them with a lightning rod, and Hazuki saves them from the next wave of attacks.Momoko, who sympathizes with the former witch queen's losses, tries to get through her broken heart by revealing that she had lost a loved one as well. Unfortunately, her attempt to heal her heart is unsuccessful when the former witch queen attacks her. Luckily, Doremi rescues Momoko from the attack, and also tries to communicate, expressing her desire to become friends with her. When the former witch queen responds by continuing to hurt Doremi, Hana-chan fights with her magic. However, Doremi refuses to let her or any of her friends use magic against the former queen. The girls eventually suggest making a cake as a gift for the former queen, the same one that her husband made years ago. The Queen of the Witch World and the council arrive with their magical crystals, but put them down and ask the former queen to give the human girls a chance. Doremi and the girls make the cake and present it to her, revealing that they knew how to make it by research. The taste of the cake evokes the former queen's happier memories, when her husband proposed to her with the cake and when she made that very cake for her own son. Anger now gone, the former queen's magic changes the entire forest, turning the Lifewood back into its peaceful and blossoming state. Her body has also changed, and she now lies asleep behind the brambles. The Queen of the Witch World takes this chance to remove the curse of the witch frogs, but the former queen's magic creates a barrier and it is still too strong for the current Queen to break past. Instead, they all leave the forest, hoping to find the solution to the curse later. Once out, the Queen of the Witch World and the council all vote that Doremi and the girls have gained enough worth to be recognized as witches. Discarding their apprentice titles, Doremi and the girls happily go home despite not re-receiving their magical crystals. However, even as the former queen is slumbering, her magic is still at work... Voice Cast
