Synopsis
It's a brand new year, which calls for new changes! However, change comes too soon for Aiko when she discovers that her father's boss has forcibly arranged a meeting for a prospective marriage with his daughter. At first, Aiko is against the meeting until Hehe suggests that she is being selfish and needs to let her father find a woman to love.
Aiko remembers her last memory of her mother, and at night, encourages her father to move on and proceed with the meeting. She confesses to her father that she did see her mother during her last visit to Osaka, and that she saw her mother with a baby. Although Aiko's father is distraught, he agrees and accepts the arrangement, preparing to meet with his boss and his family the next day.
Aiko arrives at the MAHO Dou in the morning, ready to meet her future mother. Doremi and Hazuki are surprised with her sudden change of heart. Hazuki, who had been thinking about the situation for a long time, expresses her doubt that the baby was Aiko's mother's. Majorika confirms this with her crystal ball, revealing that the little baby Aiko's mother had taken care of belonged to her friend's. Shocked with the truth, Aiko returns to her father to relay her discovery. However, it's too late — he can't cancel, and the two have no choice but to attend the meeting anyway.
Aiko does her best to mess up the date, from spilling dirty secrets about her father to letting Doremi and Hazuki ruin him in the background. Instead, her work fails — Midori, Aiko's father's boss' daughter, ends up falling deeper in love! When the two are alone, Aiko decides to use magic to drive the two apart, but Onpu appears, saying that the witch trio were using the wrong kind of magic. She offers to help Aiko make Midori fall out of love with forbidden magic and tells her to prioritize her honest feelings over the rules of magic. Aiko agrees — except she decides not to use magic at all. She tells Midori that she does not want another mother, and Midori understandingly rejects Aiko's father despite their compatibility.
