Synopsis
Today is the final day of Hazuki's magic probation, but to her dismay, she still can't use her magic until the sun sets. That's not the worst part — on her way to the MAHO Dou, Hazuki kindheartedly decides to help out two lost men, but they are kidnappers and hold her captive in their apartment! As the bumbling men attempt to write a ransom letter, Hazuki gently offers to help them while at the same time tricking them into calling Doremi's house to let her know her whereabouts.
As soon as Doremi and Aiko receive the message, they embark on a mission to rescue Hazuki, but the kidnappers know that someone's onto them. While Doremi and Aiko pursue them, trying to stop them with magic, the kidnappers manage to escape, Hazuki still with them.
Out in the quiet forest, the kidnappers confess their plans to Hazuki: they were a comedy duo called the Pappaya Brothers dropped by their talent agency and in order to get back on the road to the entertainment world, they needed funding for their act. In order to get 10 million yen quickly, they planned to kidnap a rich girl so her family would be able to offer the sum of money. Hazuki goodnaturedly advises them to practice on their act to become popular, and as the men realize their faults, they thank her.
Before the men can return Hazuki back home, Aiko quickly arrives, punishing the brothers by placing them in a dangerously high tree. Hazuki convinces her friends that the Pappaya Brothers realized their mistakes, and the Pappaya Brothers even promise not to kidnap another child again. However, Doremi and Aiko ran out of magic beads, so they can't safely return the men back to the ground. As the Pappaya Brothers risk a dreadful death, Hazuki realizes that she's the only one who can help and begs the Queen to let her use her magic even though her punishment isn't over yet.
