Once Upon a Time

Little elementary schooler Harukaze Doremi believes herself to be the unluckiest girl in the world. She is unable to confess her love to the boy she likes, she's always getting in trouble at school, and every day in her life is a mishap. Doremi believes that if she could do magic, all of her problems would be solved.

Doremi's life changes one afternoon, for when she is walking home, she mysteriously finds herself in front of a creepy magic shop. Hoping for a charm that would get her to express her true feelings, she noticed that the old shopkeeper fit every description of what a witch was in her book. Doremi, frightened, screams out, "WITCH!!", pointing at her. In a blink of an eye, the lady becomes a witch frog. She angrily proclaims to Doremi that she lost her human form because Doremi called her a witch right in her face. Consequently, the witch frog is forced to teach Doremi magic and turn her into a witch apprentice in order to gain her human form back. Can Doremi go through all her witch tests and keep her secret? More troubles await her...
