Ojamajo Kids

About

During the run of Ojamajo Doremi DOKKA~N!, there was a stage production titled Ojamajo Kids which played at live events. Six girls were chosen at auditions to play the parts of the main cast and danced to the music of Ojamajo Doremi. For many of the girls, this was their debut role to the road of stardom. Toy BOX has a report of one of the live events if you would like to see pictures.

From December 14-15 of 2002, Ojamajo Kids had a special live event called Ojamajo Kids X'mas to celebrate the holidays. The girls performed a special Christmas skit about Doremi and the girls helping an unnamed boy (who is "Santa") deliver presents.

I do not know whether footage of the live events were ever released on DVD. However, in the VHS Ojamajo Doremi DOKKA~N! Special, there's a little segment where the Ojamajo Kids dance to DANCE! Ojamajo and teach the audience how to dance to Ojamajo Ondo de Happy-py!! Unfortunately, this VHS was only available as a mail-in offer from Kodansha and is out of production.

Maeda Chisato

Unfortunately, there is little to no information about Maeda Chisato (前田ちさと), who portrayed Momoko in Ojamajo Kids. She was not found in any talent agency's database, nor can I find any more information about her on the Internet. My best bet is that she has settled down for a normal lifestyle and/or wanted to focus on school (she was in the 6th grade when she participated in Ojamajo Kids, which probably meant she was focusing on junior high entrance exams).
